  • Project Rebound

    Project Rebound is a special admissions and support program for students impacted by the justice system, or transitioning out of prisons and jails. Operating within the California State University system, Project Rebound has helped hundreds of individuals earn bachelor’s and master’s degrees.

  • Nonprofit Solutions

    Nonprofit Solutions provides high-quality, relevant, and affordable workshops. Topics range from DEI to leadership training, Excel, and marketing best practices. Making high quality, affordable training and management assistance available and easily accessible for all nonprofits and the public is and has always been the “core business” of Nonprofit Solutions.

    Charges for the program: There is public pricing available to anyone that would like to train at our events. There are special discounts for people who work for our member nonprofit organizations.

  • Kitchens For Good

    Kitchens For Good - Culinary Apprenticeship. A tuition-free, 20-month certified apprenticeship program that prepares individuals with barriers to employment to launch meaningful careers in the culinary and hospitality industry. Kitchens for Good offers three apprenticeship tracks:

    1. Culinary

    2. Baking

    3. Food Service Management

    Apprentices spend 3 months at our training facility learning the fundamentals of cooking in our classroom and kitchen, then obtain on-the-job training for 17 months with one of our employer partners.

    Eligibility requirements:

    • Must be at least 18 years old.

    • Eligible for employment in the U.S.A.

    • Meet the criteria of being either unemployed or underemployed, with a barrier to employment (history of incarceration, homelessness, foster care, mental health challenges or substance abuse)

    • Be available to be in class from 8:30am to 4:15pm, Monday through Friday for 12 weeks.

    • Not currently enrolled in any other KFG Apprenticeship Program.

    • Able to work and complete on-the-job training requirements with an employer partner for 17 months.

    • Be open to a background check and not have any outstanding arrest warrants.

    • Food Service Management only – Must have Prior work experience of at least 1 year as a server, cook, hostess within the last 3 years.

  • W.O.O.H.O

    Women Overcoming Obstacles Have Opportunities. Provides support including education, employment, and housing. This program is 12 month program which would provide wrap around services for these women coming from incarceration.
